The 4th emergency curry & rice feeding organized by Sri Lankan community in Japan was held on 24 / April in ASAHI city. ASAHI city is located in the North East of Chiba prefecture (about 80 km away from Tokyo). And it is known as the most South area suffered a great damage by TUNAMI on 3 11. 13 people died and 427 houses were destroyed completely. 2 kinds of curries and rice for about 370 displace people\'s dinner were cooked at Sri Lankan restaurant \'RANDEWA\' from Saturday morning. In addition to curry meals, fresh tomatoes produced in IBARAKI prefecture were loaded into a rolly by Japanese supporter\'s favor. The members of curry delivery were Mr SUNIL (a Sri Lankan consul), RANDEWA staffs, Sri Lankan oversea trainees and Japanese supporters. At the IIOKA welfare center (one of the disaster shelter in ASAHI city), we joined Mr AKECHI (the Mayer of ASAHI city), Mr TAKETAWA (the organizer) and shelter\'s staffs. The curry meals delivered to 4 disaster shelters include IIOKA welfare center as dinner. This time, Sri Lanka helps Japan very eagerly. As next support from Sri Lanka to Japan, the 40ft container of black tea packs is delivering to North Eastern Japan.
